25 for 25!

An astonishing anthology of brand-new piano miniatures in celebration of the silver  anniversary of the largest piano summer school in Europe.  We are thrilled to announce this vibrant and varied collection of pieces by composers who have been supportive, loyal and faithful to Chetham’s, its course and festival, over many years.

From intermediate to advanced level, the styles range from jazz-inspired bagatelles through lyrical meditations to experimental creations and even some musical cryptography too.

There will be two recitals with all 25 world premieres performed by the composers and members of the faculty in the Stoller Hall – full programme below:
