CIPPS Part one and Part two

(Individual lessons take place on Tuesday 17th – Friday 20th and Sunday 22nd – Wednesday 25th inclusive)

8.45am-11am – Teaching Session 1
10.45am-11.30am – Coffee
11.30am-1pm – Teaching Session 2
12.30pm-1.45pm – Lunch
2.45pm-5pm – Teaching Session 3

Students will be allocated a dedicated teacher, or teachers, for the duration of each chosen course. For every course booked they will receive a daily one-to-one individual lesson in addition to a group workshop  – an ideal opportunity for performance and discussions.

There are daily  ‘drop-in’ performance and practise group  sessions scheduled for additional support to the individual lessons.

In 2026 two new daily classes were introduced–  Scales and exercise workshop and an ensemble class – allowing for some enjoyable duet and two piano playing. These proved very popular and will remain as part of the daily schedule

There will be opportunities to perform in the student recitals which take place throughout the course, as well as recording opportunities.

All of the tuition on the summer school is open to observers, and participants will be able to listen to lessons from as many other tutors on the course as they wish.
