The composition course has always proved very popular and this year we welcome some very distinguished composers to the faculty –Rolf Hind, Douglas Finch, Jeremy Pike and Ian Stephens. Participants who wish to study composition will have individual coaching, workshops and opportunities for performance.  

If you have written any compositions please bring them along together with any recordings you may have. It would be helpful if you could bring manuscript paper, pencils, rubbers etc to the lessons.

In previous years some of the students on the course have had their works performed during the week, making their ‘World premiere’ very memorable for everyone.
