NEW REVISED Course - Concerto
Introduced in 2026 to great success, the Concerto Course offers pianists a unique opportunity to study a complete concerto, or selected movements from a concerto of their choice. Throughout the week, participants work closely with a professional accompanist, alongside the standard programme of daily individual lessons with a member of the faculty.
Included in the course fee:
- An initial session with the accompanist during the first piano lesson, providing the opportunity to play through the concerto and explore it with both accompanist and teacher.
- A dedicated rehearsal session with the accompanist to prepare and refine the work in greater detail.
- A daily individual lesson with a member of the faculty.
- A final concert performance of one chosen movement with the accompanist in the glorious Whiteley Hall.
NEW for 2027
Following participant feedback, it is now possible to add a professional film recording in the glorious Stoller Hall. Performing on a Steinway Model D, students will have their concerto performance with accompanist professionally filmed by Mill Media.
