Course - Musical Analysis
The musical analysis course offers individual lessons for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge and understanding of musical analysis.
Participants can choose to study their current piano repertoire or to look at specific periods of piano music. Lessons will be tailored to the standard of the participant and will include the basic principles of tonal harmony, counterpoint, exercises in analysis, motivic development, phrase rhythm and texture.

Just a quick note to thank you, and indeed all the team, for a fantastic week at the Summer School. I have to say I was quite apprehensive but really enjoyed it all – and have learnt just so much. A lot to think about and to let sink in!
