Ronald Stevenson (1928-2015) has left a legacy of over 500 piano pieces, including ‘Passacaglia on DSCH’, the longest single movement piano work in the repertoire.  His music includes much smaller pieces and many transcriptions. Tonight we celebrate his extraordinarily colourful, beautiful legacy in a recital featuring talented young pianists from Chetham’s school of music.
