An exciting opportunity to develop your extemporising skills under the guidance of some of the world’s most inspiring and accomplished improvisers, each bringing their own distinctive voice and approach to the art of improvisation.

Over the course of three hours of individual tuition, you’ll receive personalised guidance tailored to your experience and interests.

You’ll also take part in collaborative workshops and enjoy opportunities to perform, all within a supportive and creatively charged environment.

 Styles explored include:

• The rich harmonic language of jazz

• The expressive freedom of modern improvisation

• The elegant structures of classical extemporisation

Whether you’re new to improvisation or looking to refine your skills, this course offers a vibrant and transformative experience. No experience is necessary to apply for this course. It is possible to apply for just one or two lessons on the course if you feel that the whole course would be too intense.
