Trinity Diplomas and Graded Exams

We are delighted that participants can take a Trinity exam or diploma on both parts of the course once again. This includes the most advanced diploma (FTCL)  which is usually only available in London. The exams will take place on the 17th and 22nd August.

The venue is the stunning Carole Nash Hall and you will play on a model D Steinway piano.

It will be possible to sit any level of exams from Grade 1 – 8, all performance certificates and the three levels of diplomas.

  • ATCL: equivalent in standard to the first year recital of an undergraduate degree
  • LTCL: equivalent in standard to the final year recital of an undergraduate degree
  • FTCL: equivalent in standard to a postgraduate course recital at a conservatoire or university

Please do follow the links below for information on repertoire and requirements. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure they follow all the regulations of the exam. For diplomas if your programme needs approval from Trinity please submit this in plenty of time to ensure you have the document in time for the exam.
