Participant recitals

An opportunity for participants to perform in one of the outstanding recital rooms.

Tai Chi

Join Philip for a gentle start to the day. If the weather is good the session will be outside.

Teaching session 1

Lessons begin in earnest from 9am. The faculty work throughout the day giving individual lessons and welcome observers.

Teaching session 2

More lessons continue on all courses, including composition, jazz, harpsichord and of course, piano.

Adult Amateur Workshop

Whiteley Hall

The daily two hour workshop for the adult amateur course. Join Philip Fowke and  Kathryn Page for helpful and encouraging advice. An opportunity to play in the supportive group - it could be just a bar, a line or a whole sonata movement. Everyone welcome!

Teaching session 3

The final lessons of the day, including workshops. Do check the daily noticeboards for information.

Video recordings

Participants can choose to make a professional film recording with leading company Mill Media in the Carole Nash Hall. There are two pianos to choose from - both concert grands - Steinway and Bösendorfer. Choose from 20, 30 or 40 minute time slots on the application form. Space limited - please book early.     …
