Biographical Info

Sandra Leja Bojsten was educated as a piano pedagogue at the
Latvian Academy of Music in Riga.

She has been teaching children and young people for over 34 years in both Latvia and Sweden.
Most recently, Sandra has been active in the well-known ”Nacka Music School” outside Stockholm but also at the popular ”Lilla Akademien” in the center of Stockholm.
Sandra Leja Bojsten is well known in Stockholm music life as an extremely inspiring and fundamental teacher specializing in beginners, children and adults.
Many of her pupils have studied further at higher music education such as colleges and universities but also straight into a professional music life. She is also a popular accompanist at chamber concerts and, in addition to playing the piano, she has an important role as choir conductor for the Stockholm Latvian Women’s Choir.
