Social time

The final evening social time for everyone. Non residents leave for the day and residents can enjoy spending time in house with the team of house parents or taking advantage of all the wonderful pianos available to play, ready for the final recitals tomorrow. Oglesby atrium  

Group class workshops

The final morning group sessions before everyone performs in the morning participant recitals. The sessions are live-streamed for all the online participants. The Chetham's library - founded in 1653, is the oldest surviving public library in Britain.    

Final morning recitals

The 2021 Junior Academy draws to a close with recitals by all the young pianists throughout the school for 2 hours. Certificates will be presented to all participants.

Junior Foundation ‘drop in’ practice clinic

For all young pianists on the Foundation Course. Drop in to play a bar, or a small section, ask about fingering and learn lots of tips to take you into your practice room. Stay for 5 minutes or the whole class - so much can be discovered by listening to everyone.
