We are excited to announce 2 new courses for 2026.
The new concerto course offers pianists a unique opportunity to study a complete concerto, or movements of different concertos, throughout the course. Each participant will have the opportunity to work with a professional pianist throughout the week.
Included in the fees are a dedicated rehearsal session with their pianist to prepare the work in detail, a daily lesson with a member of the faculty, a session in one of the lessons with the dedicated accompanist to refine ensemble playing and musical interpretation.
The course culminates in a final performance with the accompanist of one chosen concerto movement on a model D Steinway piano in Whiteley Hall. The performance will also be filmed.
The Conservatoire Entry Preparation Course is designed for talented young pianists preparing for entry to music conservatoire both in the UK and abroad. An opportunity to study with faculty from major conservatoires, intensive lessons and advice on programme planning, audition interview and application processes will help students prepare with confidence for upcoming auditions.
