Biographical Info

Alison Havard was a valued member of the Keyboard faculty  at Chetham’s School of Music for many years. She combines this with a private teaching practice, covering a wide range of ages and abilities and in recent years has developed classes in pedagogy to support fellow teachers.
Alison travels extensively throughout the UK and internationally as an examiner for the ABRSM. She works as an accompanist and adjudicator and has also performed with choirs.
It is always a joy to tutor on Chetham’s Summer Schools and I look forward to this year’s course enormously.
