Biographical Info

Alison Havard is a tutor in piano and keyboard skills at Chetham’s School of Music. She combines this with a private teaching practice, covering a wide range of ages and abilities and in recent years has developed classes in pedagogy to support fellow teachers.
Alison travels extensively throughout the UK and internationally as an examiner for the ABRSM. She works as an accompanist and adjudicator and has also performed with choirs.
It is always a joy to tutor on Chetham’s Summer Schools and I look forward to this year’s course enormously.
